Your opinion please. . . . if Obama is elected will William Ayers become Secretary of Education?????

Keep on drinking that kool-aid... you seem to enjoy it.

I dont claim to all that knowledgable about proper English, but Davidt's sentences seemed all right to me. Where was the dangling participle?

As opposed to the McCain supporters (and members of his staff) that had links to the dictatorship in Myanmar?

Washington Wire - WSJ.com : Second McCain Staffer With Ties to Myanmar Resigns

Give it up already.
ANYONE who rises to the level of a major Presidential candidate has some sort of connection to someone with some sort of embassing "baggage". That's a simple FACT.

That's because anyone who rises to that level has contact with THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of people - some of whom are simply going to have those kinds of contacts. Last I heard it was not illegal to do business with the government of Venezuela (they are after all our 4th largest suppliers of oil).

I'm having orange, thanks. But seriously Barack and His buddy "Bill" go back a few years. They socialize together, They served together on the Woods Foundation Board, their children play together and both Bill and his consort Bernadette Dohrn contribute ot Barack's campaigns.

William Ayers is a respected professor of education at the U of Chicago. Doesn't it just make sense that Obama would appoint his friend--who no doubt is an "expert" on education to a cabinet post?

This is a fallacy. It is not about who is left-wing, right-wing, liberal, or moderate. You are handicapped by the categorizations.

It is about who will be able to devise novel, effective solutions to the modern problems that plague this country. The best person for this is clearly Obama. Hillary has never shown herself to be a leader, an effective problem-solver, or an intelligent politician.

David Axelrod is running the Obama campaign, not Obama. Yes, David Axelrod is brilliant, but this campaign was prepackaged for Obama. He ran a similar campaign for Deval Patrick.

Imagine if Axelrod was running Clinton's campaign....

Life experience. This is an issue. It's the reason cited by 39% of the people who didn't vote for him in one primary. Obama has no leadership experience. He's held very few fulltime jobs. He has a slender voting record (due to voting "present" much of the time). There is almost nothing to judge him on -- unlike the other candidates who have longer voting records, leadership positions, actual fulltime jobs. McCain even retired from the military, so you know McCain can work fulltime without cracking under pressure.

UB50....i don't mean to downgrade you or anything like that but "do you know what takes place on the senate floor or at least have any idea?" given the fact that all these candidates are nothing but senators. Just to give you a hint my friend, sometimes, if not most of the times, these senators cast votes that favor lobbying groups, introduce bills that favor lobbying firms not you the average voter.

I'm fully aware of this -- but what does this have to do with the amount of life experience each candidate brings to the table?
