What's really funny is that if Obama showed up and the place was half-empty, you'd be saying how really unpopular the guy is and how nobody wants to see him speak. But seeing as the place was teeming with thousands, you cry that they're all a bunch of brainwashed fools.
Is it that jealousy showing? Do you think McCain could ever pull off an event like that? In any country?
Do what? If he wasn't publicizing our presidential office for his own political gain....He shouldn't even be speaking on TV with other foreign leaders. Like today he had a good ole time with the French...any spotlight he can get....
Doesn't make a difference. Come back to America and run for president and let them gawk here. Going over seas basically shows what he's got on his mind and it's all selfish.
Mine was to say if you can truly find an un biased media source then let them record whatever if the candidates wanted it. Otherwise it should be considered biased as it's biased from the microphone all the way to the video tap....and off to the editor....then to the public.....if it wasn't biased we wouldn't see edited clips....we would get to see them for who they really are....and since they are running for President here in the US they should be running here not over seas.
Part of being president is the whole public image/symbol thing. The president is the "face of America", and so he should be well-liked and popular IN ADDITION TO having good policies. Approval/popularity and policy efficacy often go hand-in-hand, too.
Okay how hard is this one.....Obama isn't the president yet he wan't to be the "face"....if he wins then fine......stop portaying it as though you already own us..... The face of America is the president....the one now sitting.
