Overturning Roe is a good start, but I agree that our American culture has turned into "a culture of death" as John Paul the Great called it. The government has a duty to protect its people, and Roe does not protect the unborn people.
Debate all you want about the definition of a fetus vs. a baby but you can't deny that both are human. Having legalized abortion on demand only perpetuates the culture of death, and Obama's vote in favor to make killing outside the womb is outrageous!!
Here is a brief description of partial-birth abortion:
Guided by ultrasound, the abortionist grabs the baby's leg with forceps.
The baby's leg is pulled out into the birth canal.
The abortionist delivers the baby's entire body, except for the head.
The abortionist jams scissors into the baby's skull. The scissors are then opened to enlarge the hole...
The scissors are removed and a suction catheter is inserted. The child's brains are sucked out, causing the skull to collapse. The dead baby is then removed.

People die all the time without anyone killing them. Does that mean its okay to actually do it for them if they are not wanted and will just be a drain on society?
You know, really my biggest issue is with late abortions and the worst of all, partial birth abortions. I would love to hear a good explanation of how puncturing the skull of a baby that is no longer a fetus and then sucking its brains out does not fully constitute a murder charge.

Have you ever had a newborn fall asleep in your arms or watched a baby sleep? Personally, it's experiences like this that have really what have put my life's priorities in order. Whether people choose to take us seriously or not, we prolifers are not going to change our tune. We are only trying to protect the stuff in life that really matters.
So...when it's convenient, in this case to kill a baby, you are all for abiding by and trusting a government in just about every other case you revile and despise.
