Well this pretty much sums it up, especially in the South. This was from a Canadian friend of mine in Facebook,........

"never thought obama would win always thought mc cain would take it americans are
to close minded to have a black pres...
canada could america lololol, he be dead in one year if not 6 mths! unfortunatley

So no suprise that he would lose the South, but maybe the black turnout will help him win one or two states down there.

yeah, they flock to NC and ruin cities like asheville. we had a lesbian state senator, because we are such a liberal state. how did that work out for us? maybe once her foreclosure trial is over, she can tell us. somehow I don't want someone who thought a $100,000 per year job could afford a $1.5 million dollar home in charge of our tax dollar.

According to Rasmussen it is a tie today, yesterday they had McCain +1

Yeah, um, remind me when the last time a black man was elected to head of state of Canada again? When one was even a serious contender like Obama is?

Tell your Canadian facebook friend to keep his eye on his own BS.

Don't forget Jim and Tammy Faye.

This doesn't surprise me. A lot of people are latching on to McCain due to Palin, especially traditionally religious Southern states and their bulging suburbs and mega-churches. Maybe McCain was not so careless in his pick after all.

Haven't the Republicans carried North and South Carolina for quite a few elections?

Not a chance. Georgia was his best shot and he already gave it up there.

I feel sorry for the McCain backers, i mean they are getting the hopes so up high just for it to come crashing to the floor after the elections.

I find it extemely sad that the color of a man is used in judgement of his intelligence. One has nothing to do with the other.

Ah, the trusty race card. So, if people vote for McCain, they are racists? Can't you believe that a lot of voters don't like Obama's political ideology?
