Yes, I'm sinking low, but did anyone see Mehgan talk about how her dad was a poor student, who partied and dated a stripper? Did you catch how she mentioned that "no one knows war like my family, period."? Really, no one knows war like your family?? Read a newspaper little girl!

I hate to be petty but I will?

I don't need to read a paper to know that a five year POW who says he was immature going into the armed forces and grew up while being that tortured POW....does not compare in the LEAST to today's military experience. All war is difficult on all participants going back to day one. But how many POWs do we have?

I hate to be petty but I will....I'm sick of hearing people criticizing those servicemembers who promised to fulfill their military duties complaining about them actually doing it. And the truth is, the military famlies are not the ones making all the noise. You don't sign up with caveats about WHERE and WHEN you will work and serve.

I love the military wives complaining that they can't sell their houses when common sense dictates they were foolish to begin with for even buying a house at the peak of the market when they know that they could be deployed and transferred at any time. Another petty complaint.

Yes, sinking low. Who cares what he did when he was young and stupid as long as he isn't doing it now. Some people do change for the better and actually grow up.

I'm sorry, but no one knows war unless they've been in it or it directly effects one's family. Reading a paper just doesn't fly with really knowing what it's all about.

Hey, I brought it up mostly because I thought it was funny. But when you talk about the president, I think character plays into the equation a little. But honestly, I though she was cute as heck, real average American family, the kind we Americans want in the white house, not like those smart elitist folks.

God forbid we have someone in the White House who is intelligent and wants better for the American public (not that we get that with either candidate).

When you find a family who has a POW, two active servicemen, two high ranking military grandfathers who served then we can talk.

Me too. Hey, did you hear the one about obama snorting coke? Or did he smoke it?

my point was only that getting drunk and getting laid by strippers is about on par with doing coke at harvard. As long as they don't bring that behavior to the white house (bill clinton, I'm talking to you!) I'm fine with their individual pasts.
Can you even try to imagine what it would be like if we had to find potus nominees who were virgins till married, never drank smoked or did drugs? Ironically enough, I think that is when we would have our first muslim president

Hey, to be honest, I am fine with it too. It's clear to me that he likes his women hot, that's fine. But at the end of the day, don't feel me the line about family values. In fact, I noticed they didn't bring it up at all. I wonder why not?

Like I said, it's petty, but I thought the interview was pretty funny.
