LA Times
Obama has condemned Ayers' radical activities, carried out when Obama was 8. There is no evidence that they were ever close friends or that Ayers advised Obama on policy.

Fox News runs controversial opinion program on Obama's connections - International Herald Tribune
Various reports, including ones in The New York Times, have found no evidence that Obama and Ayers were particularly close, although they have had various points of contact. Ayers was host of an event for Obama early in his political career, they served together on a charitable board, and both worked on an educational project financed by the billionaire philanthropist Walter Annenberg.

Here, take a look at the other people who also served on that board with Ayers:

Chicago Annenberg Challenge - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Do they "pal around with terrorists," too? The President of the University of Illinois? Seriously?

How about the fact that Annenberg himself was a billionaire Republican who funded the board?

How about the fact that Obama was invited to be on the board not by Ayers, but by two of the other board members?

What else?

Oh yes, Ayers--a fellow board member-- held a fund-raiser for Obama's Senate campaign in his house. At which several other leading members of Chicago society were present.

That's it. That is the extent of Obama's relationship to Ayers.

The enormous claims that have been made by the neo-cons about their supposed "close friendship" are simply pure, unadulterated bullsh*t. Fear-mongering. Fear-baiting. Whipping up the frenzy of the base.

I mean seriously, folks. Get. A. Clue.

Got a news flash, not only do Obama supporters not care, but neither does anyone outside of the ridiculous right. You folks have been riding this one trick pony for weeks now, you might look at the polls and see how impressed everyone is with the story.

I watched the video, nothing in there said Obama was a terrorist..
This is the worse kind of inference and politics

They worked together on the Annenberg Challenge to improve schools and on the Woods project. Obama was not involved in the 60's.

Obama has said he deplore's the guys actions.

The city of Chicago gave Ayers the citizen of the year award in 1997...

Sorry I found nothing earth shaking on the video
