I have often wondered the same thing. And when they get here, they want to start spending tax money on things the way they were back home. The result will be that soon the taxes will be just as high as they were back home. The new people moving in have already caused many changes in our tax laws in North Carolina. Next thing you know, I will have to be moving, because I can't afford to live here anymore. Oh, well, I will probably be dead first.

An awful lot of us go "where the jobs are". . . . yes, we want it ALL, jobs and health care and the right to have our hard work pay off in a reasonably comfortable lifestyle! Remember, Henry Ford had the right idea, when asked why he paid his workers so much, he replied, so that they will be able to buy my cars! That is what Obama is proposing. . . and what is the exact opposite of "trickle down economics". An honest days pay for an honest days work, and "prosperity for all" from the bottom up! NOT welfare, as McCain is trying to make you believe!

Democratic hegemony in state government is never a good thing. The liberals ruin their state economies with incessant taxes then move into states with conservative traditions when the taxes get unbearable because the standard of living in those states is so much better.

But you don't believe that they move to a red state just so they can turn it blue, do you?

getting paid for money you didn't earn is welfare. but this really isn't about the two socialist running for president. it's about all the people escaping from high taxation and voting the same way.

they move to escape the taxes, and inadvertently turn the state blue. I was hoping they would turn some states purple but some really STUPID people move here.

Colorado and Idaho are great examples of the liberals moving in and trying to "change" it.

I'm born and bred in Oklahoma, the most Repub state of all-- that happened to not always be this way.

And dont get me started.. why did you end up in North America at all?
Freedom of Religion, Separation of Church and State....

Which your party seems to be against. Why dont you go back to where you came from if you don't like the constitution?

You don't like to work together? Our founding fathers of the USA would have starved and froze without it! No war would have been won without it either. We are heading into another great depression and all you guys can do is moan about it, when the fact of the matter is it's proven trickle down does not work and we need the dems right now to sort this mess out the way Clinton did before.

But hey if you dont like it....I know some of my ancestors, the Native Americans wouldn't mind at all if you went back to europe, ect where YOU came from ..LOL
