that is the hope of many that obama will be the avenging angel of 1862 mind set AA. that are about to be very disappointed. no doubt name calling will very quickly ensue.

Considering I used to be one, and have three of my own, of course not...........It's just ironic that the South Carolina Repubs. tried to use this as a smear against McCain in 2000 at the same time their icon, Strom Thurmond, was being down low about the identity of his oldest daughter.
Claiming that Obama is an "affirmative action" president brushes aside any accomplishments, merit and hard work he has ever done as a human being. It is a bogus argument, raised as a hypocritical claim by those who themselves decry the supposed "race card" that is pulled by their opponents.
It's strange that the only people I ever hear complaining about "affirmative action" is white males, who have no business claiming any sort of "bias" against them, as the bias has been in their favor for over 200 years in this country.
