You do remember they tried to blow up one of the Twin Towers before Bush was President don't you? You have heard of of the USS Cole haven't you? I'm surprised you and others have not tried to blame those on Bush too.

First you need to understand I am not a Bush supporter and never voted for him, but it's stupid to blame him for everything.
Nobody here is blaming him for EVERYTHING - but the fact is, when the captain of the ship is a Nimrod who's asleep at the wheel - then BAD things happen - and THAT'S a fact (as America is finding out).

Well it seems as if a lot of people want to blame him because they stumped the toe last night.

And I said I was surprised they weren't, not that they were.

And I thought the Senate and Congress were there for checks and balance, where were they?

What is that America is finding out? That they should not buy homes they cannot afford, that it is up to them to keep an eye on their stocks and not Bushes?

"(as America is finding out)"

When you throw something like this out there you leave it wide open. Tell me what you are talking about.

That's just your misconception. Most have the picture clear enough to know what Bush fouled up is Bush's fault.

Do tell!

You seem to be surprised at a lot of things.

Do you supose Bush was aware of those incidents? Why do you suppose he did nothing after getting pointed advanced warning about bin Laden determined to attack in America? Why do you suppose he spent the next month on vacation instead of taking measures to prepare for the attack predicted by the CIA?

I think that's his fault. I think he's responsible for national security. I think 9/11 was a big failure in security. I think invading Iraq when we were attacked by Saudi terrorists was a stupid and ill-advised move. Maybe you disagree.

That's your perogative, of course.

That would be very stupid. Let's keep our eye on the ball. Bush is responsible for all of the things he fouled up. And that's a long list.

Bad recession, first black President, and a Bush fatigued electorate is a good recipe for hype. The hype will gradually die down as the economy improves, no one cares we have a black President anymore, and Bush fades into the night.

Once more, name one thing that Bush did to "foul" up YOUR life if the list is that long.

I don't bother to respond to a lot you say because it's just to stupid to respond to.

Some people here will never let Bush fade into the night.

That your President should be someone who is "competent" and "capable" and pays attention to the details (which Bush did NOT do) - rather than someone who values the personal loyalty of his appointments over their actual skills at doing the job they were appointed to do.

From his delay in doing anything about the deteriorating conditions in Iraq (until he was more of less FORCED to make the necessary changes by angry members of his own party) - and even then awarding the Presidential Medal of Freedom (the highest civilian honor) to his buddy Paul Bremer (who was the cause of much of the problem), to his lax oversight of FEMA during Katrina (again, doing nothing to fix the obvious problems in leadership until he was more or less "shamed' into do so by the media exposure), to his ignoring the nations' financial problems until it became a crises and he was "forced" into making an enormous bailout (at which point he panicked the market - leading to most of the market collapse) - Bush has done nothing but set a course, then put the country on autopilot while things deteriorate - instead of doing his job and monitoring progress (then making adjustments in a TIMELY manner).

All, told, Bush simply did NOT DO HIS JOB.

Ken

Once again, please read post #32.

Not simple enough for you?

Sorry.

There does seem to be some stupidity in our exchanges.
