So what do you propose they do for this Inauguration? Eliminate all emergency, police, and support services? Make those providing the services provide it for free? Prohibit private donations? Eliminate all of the Port-o-Potties so that people would have to answer nature's call in the open? Maybe it should be canceled altogether. Would that make you happy?

I read that it's going to be over $170 million the Obama Inauguration. But my question is, how much of that is going to be privately funded? It could be a Billion Dollars, and if it's all privately funded, it doesn't really matter. Part of being American is supposed to mean that you can spend your own money however you want.

Actually, all I'm saying is that IF the Inauguration is privately funded, those spending the money are free to spend as little or as much as they please.
