Its a lost cause, they will continue to see and hear what they want. McCain was the ONLY one that specifically said that he will "end earmarks". They will continue to place that on the President. The same Senators that stood on their soap box on the Senate floor berating the President had billions of dollars worth of earmarks, but try to explain it away by saying, "as long as we could get it in there, we'll continue to do it". Thats like a drug dealer saying, "as long as i could stand on this corner and sell drugs and get away with it, i will.

You guys had eight years to do away with the "Dreaded Earmarks"...why didn't you rally and scream and push YOUR congress people to end them?

it has nothing to do with hatred of obama and it has everything to do with fear for our economic future as a country. get over yourselves obama lovers. this problem is bigger than obama....
earmarks are symbolic of the waste in government and the fact that other countries warned us not to do this, and even the european countries are refusing to go along with this large of a stimulus package.
