did any of you who disagree with the Obama Presidency ever, ever bother to check the links I posted? the President is working on the problem. but I will throw this out at you. both, democrats and republicans love their earmarks, it is partially how they acquire funding for projects in the states/constituant districts they represent. please, check out the white house dot gov links, and see what President Obama is trying to do. don't get onto a forum and spout more lies. find the truth for yourselves. Its a lost cause, they will continue to see and hear what they want. McCain was the ONLY one that specifically said that he will "end earmarks". They will continue to place that on the President. The same Senators that stood on their soap box on the Senate floor berating the President had billions of dollars worth of earmarks, but try to explain it away by saying, "as long as we could get it in there, we'll continue to do it". Thats like a drug dealer saying, "as long as i could stand on this corner and sell drugs and get away with it, i will.

You hit the nail on the head. Nobody in DC is listening to the people or care what we want. That goes for bot Democrats and Republicans. We are creeping into the realm of taxation without representation. Time for another revolution.

earmarks are symbolic of the waste in government and the fact that other countries warned us not to do this, and even the european countries are refusing to go along with this large of a stimulus package.
