Typical response. You might want to go ask one of those Jews why it's inappropriate.
Technically, I think nononsense is correct.. Liberals can proclaim the right all kinds of names but dont dare let someone what they are, like a jew, a jew, and someone black, black..
Its funny to see the very same liberals proclaim that people like "Frank and Pelosi", speak for themself and not all Democrats, but when one Republican says something stupid, its branded as the "GOP"...
After being around politicians for over 30 years, i find that there are many different flavours of democrats (and liberals), but only a couple of flavours in the (currently) conservative GOP. Sometimes it's hard to distinguish between vanilla and french (sorry i mean american) vanilla of the GOP.

soooooo, Schumer being called "that Jew" is fine and dandy.
I guess it's okay for Democrats to refer to Christians as "right wing fundies" etc, but we dare not call a Jew a Jew. Does that make any sense?
Look at all the names they have called Sarah Palin, based on her religion (Christian).
There really does seem to be a double standard here.
I guess you'd have to define "liberal" then, because you seem to be presuming somehow that it's agreed that socially liberal people cant be Christian. "Right wing fundies" arent the only kind of Christians...other Christians dont think RWFs are real Christians.... etc. etc. etc.
And why not call a Jew a Jew? Jews call themselves Jews. "Person of the Jewish persuasion" is more comfortable for ya?
(About Schumer and that awful Arkansas person - "that Jew" is different.)
1. I never said it. ROLL TAPE.
2. I was quoted out of context. THAT'S THE ENTIRE TAPE.
3. I was only joking. THAT'S NOT FUNNY.
4. What? Isn't he Jewish.
5. Many C-D'ers on the right accuse the thread starter or being an anti-Semite for bringing it up.
And they wonder why they have a reputation for a bunch of fat, out of touch WASPs.
golfgod
Ah the irony of pointing out the bigotry of calling someone "that Jew" by calling members of a political party overweight clueless whiteprotestants. Way to leave religion and race out of politics there, golfgod...
That particular use of the term "that Jew" was derogatory epithet. Using the term to describe a person's faith can be neutral as in "he is a Jew." Or “they are Christians.”

Explains a lot.
Explain what? That you lack the ability to understand english and like to lie about what was said? Where did I defend the statement?
