I'm glad the Netherlands came second I think they should have won. I did think Austria had a good performance and they could sing but I do think the transgender thing helped them win.
Yes I think it was a sympathy vote and wasn't really fair really.
I wonder if Conchita would have been the winner without beard, probably not, the song in my opinion was not good.
But I prefer this kind of popularity to win better than political voting. Eurovision is not a music quality contest any more.

Of course, how responsible and adult like, vote against someone because of country politics.
One thing I was happy to see was the united boos against Russia.
