It's a matter of time,before english language will take over most european languages,the internet has made impossible to ignore english as the first language of communication,even on the moon,there have signs in english.
i would advice every citizen of the earth to learn english or leave the planet,lol !!

Very true. You shove some nouns, verbs and pronouns in there in pretty much any order, and it tends to come out more or less correct - not like some other languages I could mention...
Because English is a conundrum of different languages, 70 to 80 percent of all the words come from Latin, Greek, etc. So, it's sort of Vulgata very easy to learn.
As to English replacing languages in Europe, I don't see that in the future. Not even in the US, a place in which Spanish is bound to be bilingual in the long run.

Yes, especially in AE people often just put one noun after another, in technical contexts up to half a dozen, without any prepositions in between. People seem to simply list all the nouns they want to get across, not caring about whether or not others will be able to understand what they actually wanted to say, i.e. which nouns refer to which. In German for instance such sloppiness is linguistically impossible.

That is nonsense. What gives you that odd idea? You are aware that everything the EU does is translated into all languages spoken in the EU? Countries are fierce about their languages, English will never be more than an additional tool in certain areas like technology. It is like in India, people speak English to a certain extent to get by, but their mother tongues continue to be their main languages.
Certain things are too fine and detailed to be said in any language but one's mother tongue. That is why national languages will continue to be people's native and main tongues. It starts at birth. A mother wants to express her love for her child, so she uses her mother tongue as expressing feelings in another language doesn't mean anything. (Oddly, this is also why some Germans say Sorry these days, it means nothing, whereas saying Verzeihung or Es tut mir leid requires that people actually feel that way.) That continues during childhood, and teachers carry on because in education details matter. That is how the next generation learns their mother tongue...

English is just a lingua franca in Europe, i.e it is a tool for business mostly. Other than that Europeans speak their own languages, just like in India. In everyday life English doesn't play any role in Europe, except Britain and Ireland, of course.
