No, why do you ask about Scotland in particular?

For such a small country Norway has an impressive record. Sure they are born with skis in their feet, but nevertheless.. Quite amazing.
Netherlands are specialized in skating, nobody is surprised by their insane amount of medals any more.
It looks like Russia is failing hard, usually hosting countries have huge medal boost like GB during its summer Olympics.

Definitely not.

1. Russia: 11 Gold - 10 Silver - 8 Bronze - 29 Total
4. USA: 9 Gold - 7 Silver - 11 Bronze - 27 Total

The total amount is not that interesting. Most people remember winners (gold medals) not losers (silver and bronze).

Wow. In less than two days they won a lot of medals. They were 4 or 5th yesterday morning.
Good for them.

Norway should have won the last gold medal but finaly it was Russia.

However Norway is not good at the summer Olympics even compared to the number of inhabitants.
