I think some of our Western countries have become much too accommodating because we hold ourselves to different standards. Looks like it's gotten way out of hand in Paris I gather if it keeps moving in the same direction soon the native French will bending over for every demand from the Muslim immigrants.

That's not going to happen. Things have not become out control in Paris. It is still a normal city like any other. Radical muslims are a minority in any country including in France. Besides due to France's strong stand on laicism and secularism, I doubt that the native French will bend for Muslim immigrants.

Not really in my case I knew if I made a hyperbolic statement it would encourage a discussion. Good to hear that it isn't so bad from the people living in Paris.
There are people in every religion who prosletyze. Some of them are mentally ill or immature. We have a 50-year-old neighbor who claims to be Christian monk and sends each house a Christmas card with his personal message to convert.
Like Christians with lent, the Moslems that I have worked with approached the fast in any number of ways: Some did not fast at all, others fasted the entire time, and others sort of, kind of fasted on some days but- not on others.

Islam nonetheless brings some worrying tendencies to Europe and some of its aspects are highly controversial.
Unfortunately they can be hardly discussed since most of time people stupidly shout out "Islamophobia/Racism/-ism random word" and thus positions only get radicalised without any serious achievement.
To give you an example, how many people know Bosnia is getting increasingly infiltrated at all levels by radical Islamists?
How many people do care to discuss the fact that there have been cases of French mayors literally pork barrelling their elections with Muslim communities granting them terrains where to build mosques?
How many people do care to discuss the fact that Salafist presence is increasing throughout the whole Europe?
Little or no time is devoted to discuss to what extent European countries are meddled with ISIS and other fundamentalist factions, little is discussed about how little Europe and the US are doing to fight ISIS.
We are just toying ourselves with our poor and deceptive mass media.
