Shocking stuff! I mean, the OP links to a hardly reputable website which in turn links to a video that has been deleted, but I'm glad nobody has let this dampen their faith in the fact that this event really took place.

Because, lo, here is the original video:

LiveLeak.com - Guy shouts and reverses tables because it's the Ramadan [France, Paris]

But what was that I hear you say? This was a crap stunt by a comedian, who has since apologised?

But...but...it COULD have happened!!! It MIGHT happen somtime!!! Well...we'll just keep on pretending until it does!!!

Yeah, because the Charlei Hebdo murders were also imaginary. And so many other muslim terrorist acts were also imaginary.

Right, well just to let you know, in case you have difficulty toggling all the way between pages one and four, this is not a thread about Charlie Hebdo or other terrorist attacks that did happen, but rather about an act of anti-social behaviour or mild criminality that did not happen, or rather which did happen but which was not in fact motivated by Islamic fervour but by failed humour.

Yes, because it is not a threat about muslims demanding the west to change.

Even the sense of humor is violent.

Either way, the responses here show how much the fear of another attack, the fear of terrorism, is already seeded into our minds. Any drunk bum or mentally unstable person could do such a thing and we would think nothing of it and it certainly wouldn't make the news. Happens all the time, right?
But if that person happened to be a Muslim, or even only a slight touch of Arabic descent, we immediately think of another Muslim extremist attack....

And the sensation- press fares well by it, and so do the terrorists...

Muslims are more prone to violence than any other group.

Almost none of the Muslim majority countries give equal rights to their Non-Muslim citizens. A majority of my Muslim friends in Pakistan support the second-class status of their fellow Non-Muslim citizens. Islam demands it, and for them Islam takes precedence over human rights.

If someone believes Islam is peaceful, there can be a cartoon challenge to prove this. You draw Muhammad and I will draw any Prophet of your choice. Maybe this person can also convince Molly Norris to come out of hiding.

1) A drunk doing such a thing would make the news.
2) A drunk or mentally unstable person is not driven by an ideology of hatred like islam.
