My favourite so far is Germany.

It's not so boring, faceless, cheap, and obsessed with the most economic route of urban and culture-shaping as North America (think hamburgers, car dependency, and gross concrete buildings), but it's also not overly clingy on backwards, outdated traditions and old world culture as other countries in Europe (think bullfighting in Spain, womanizing in Italy, etc...).

Most people there I've met are also very level-headed, intelligent, humble, and always trying to improve stuff or do something creative.

I know someone's going to have a problem with what I just said, but I am speaking very generally and obviously there are many exceptions to the rule. It is just the general vibe and sense I have gotten from my own travelling.

I also like Germany.

What I do not understand is Canadian originated in UK not enjoy and consider of countries like Spain that are ancient and or consider obsolete traditions
Sakespiare or Cervantes will never be obsolete.
What is enduring centuries living(traditions) is wonderful ,It is a thing of the Spirit
It s no like a machine that may be obsolete if.

If is about favorite nations, Norwegians.

If is about countries as touristic destination, the countries from Czech Republic eastward, plus Scandinavia. The rest is too polluted / industrialised / overcrowded and I don't like the culture.

If is about countries as place to live, Romania, not because is my birthplace, is just we have everything here.
