Spain left an indelible mark on me after I lived there during college. It's an amazing country with amazing people. Switzerland is a close second. Lautenbrunnen is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.
I've been to Germany, France, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Iceland, England, Scotland, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Each place was enjoyable. My favorites are Scotland and Iceland.

To me, Germany has a little bit of everything so it's my natural default. I could visit Germany over and over again and never be bored!
But I also love England. Germany and England are my two favorites.
Following close behind are the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Belgium.
I didn't get to see enough of Poland. I'd love to go back for a longer visit.
But I enjoyed every country and would love to go back to visit any of them. I love traveling through Europe. I still haven't been to southern Europe or northern Europe or Scotland or Ireland or...you get the picture. So many countries, so little time!
lol! But it's no only because of the scenery, it's because the people are a lot friendlier than in most of Western Europe, IMO. Easier to relate to.
