Finland as a country if not in a crisis, is in a very difficult economical situation. But Helsinki is booming, especially for qualified professionals.

Brussels doesn't feel as London and Paris though, it has a small town charm and is less costly so that's bearable
I find Antwerp much more charming and beautiful than Brussels, which seems a little gray to me.

Antwerp is beautiful that's for sure
Now Brussels is not the only one to be grey, it's all of Belgium

Antwerp is my favorite city in belgium, and I rather take Ghent (high university population) or a coastal city like Ostend over brussels...

There are happy and sad cities, brussels surely qualify in the latter..

I felt Brussels to be a dirty and dangerous city (at least a few areas of it), and surely it has its few shares of criminal people, politicians should do something about that.

Honestly I didn't feel that way, Downtown Brussels seemed pretty joyful to me when I lived there.
