What technical abilities? Ladas? Spain contributed heavely to the Eurofighter, on the same level that American fighters.
Russian weapons are good against civilians or armies with dilapidated URSS weapons, but junk compared to NATO weapons (Irak).
Saddam Hussein had the best Russian planes there were, and those planes did not even dared to take off.
Yes I understand - can't compare to superior Spanish engineering, but that's not the point)))
The point is, "third world wars" are not that important.
Potential WWIII however is.
And if Russians are figuring out their planes, god knows what else they figuring out when it comes to weaponry.
Spain took a part in the construction of Eurofighter (more modern than this Su-37 demonstrator, more on the level of the Su-35S that came in Paris (ie, your first video).) , they definitely aren't stupid at all. They also built ships such as the f310 class for Norway... or F100 for themselves (and more in general boats in their Navy).
