Just go to a place that sells protein shakes and look at labels, and because you are only doing this for 1 week, look for a smaller container (in case you decide it was a waste). Most protein powders out there give me terrible sinuses so I avoid them, unless they are quality made stuff. Most pre-made shakes are packed with sugars, same thing goes for the bars.

Most bars are very similar to a candy bar with a falsely healthy label. And most taste terrible.

Buy these and save money. Buying pre-made protein shakes are a waste of money.

On Whey protein is a well known brand with several flavors. I like Strawberry.

Any bottle with something inside that mixes the protein and milk. These are only a few bucks and are available wherever you buy protein powder. Shake it for a minute or two, and you're done. No need to buy a blender.

I like Muscle Milk-regular chocolate protein shakes or Lean Strawberry powder mix.

I love the taste of the low-carb/high-protein SlimFast Milk Chocolate shakes, but my stomach can't take them anymore. I've since switched to Premier Protein. Not as tasty (to me), but still okay, and they have 30g of protein.

Best of luck with your recovery!

Quest Protein Bars.

Cleanest profile of any bar I've seen, nothing like a candy bar.

You can customize your own protein from truenutrition.com. They are around the same price as the popular brand proteins. You can pick from rice, almond, whey, soy, etc. All different kinds to suit your needs. Google the website for a 5% coupon code.

I buy the pure protein powder. i have used NOW nutrition and Musclefeast. i use whey isolate but caseinate may be better for this particular use.

NOW Micellar Casein on sale at AllStarHealth.com

so 1.8 pounds of instantized NOW caseinate for 22.99

vs.

ENTEREX® PROTEIN

.6 pounds at 18.75

the "clinical" is about triple the price and i doubt its any better.

i buy the pure whey isolate unflavored. then i add to it some nestle quik powder, instant coffee and instant skim milk. mix it in a shaker bottle after a workout. you can custom mix for whatever you want. you mix with milk and you get some extra calories and protein (casein & whey).
