I'm not going to feel like starting a new adventure with a blender. Nor will I be able to wash dishes very well.
I do plan on eating some food! Beef jerky has too much sodium I think. I will be trying to limit swelling post op.
I do think I will pick up a 4 pack each of 2 more different brands. The GNC bottles
seem huge compared to the Ensure Hi-Protein. Maybe more than I can gag down. If I have some left over
I'm sure some of the young fitness types at work will take them.
funny, i totally missed that you were only looking at the pre-made shakes. i never buy them, primarily because of expense. my protein powder mixes so easily that my 1 scoop is basically mixed with about 6 ounces of water and i knock it back in 3 sips.
Since you dont' want to blend anything, and you only need it for a week. Grab some muscle milk pro series 40. (it's not actually milk, gluten and lactose free). They don't taste bad, you get the protein you are looking for, only 370mg of sodium and only 2g of sugar. Problem solved.
