My salads are Delicious, (no dressing or oil required)

I just don't like the trouble (time) of making them. And... they are very good for you and your internal 'systems'.

Generally your body does need the fiber and micronutrients from the vegetables in salads, but they don't have to be "boring." Like any meal, a salad should include protein, carbs, and healthy fats, and you really can put anything you like on them. I'm a fan of the packaged salad kits--add some protein and extra veggies and it's a super easy meal.

yes! Dont over think this. Stay under the recommended daily calories. I commit food crimes all the time at least once a week. Again monitor your calorie intake.

I was an emt and first responder when I was a pup. So, I have always known what role a good diet would play in our health and longevity. I am an old guy guy now, but my daily run is a 5k and I don’t take any meds. I am a cancer survivor and I did have a several years where I didn’t necessarily eat bad but I was not very good to my body.

What I have discovered over the years, if you start letting bad habits creep into to your regular schedule, they tend to grow exponentially. One bad meals turn into two , then the weekend is added.

I had an episode happen where I had an allergic reaction to some meds in my cancer treatment, my doctor said I was the the only person he ever saw survive the incident. I had run a 5k on Friday before starting the new meds on Saturday. He started running after that.

Take care of yourself and it pays dividends down the road. I think you will look back and appreciate giving up the bad meal.
Oh, you're so right. I've found it's much easier (and less painful) to ABSTAIN from my trigger bad foods than try (and fail) to eat them in moderation.

For instance, I cannot eat just a few potato chips, corn chips or a few French Fries. Or just have a tablespoon of ice cream. I will gobble as much as I can stuff into my mouth. So...I just don't order them at a restaurant--or have them in my house.

I know myself too well.

Yup! I eat a boring salad about 5 days a week for lunch. I add avocado, some grilled chicken or some boiled egg to it and I'm full until dinner time..
