Bras don't prevent sagging.

Actually, there was a Japanese and a French Study that showed that wearing a bra can cause sagging sooner:
"According to the Wikipedia article (with sources), not even bra manufacturers claim that bras prevent saggy breasts.
Now, this is of course not conclusive. I have found two studies, that go further and claim that wearing no bra actually trains the chest muscles, making the breasts firmer and thus prevent sagging.

The first is a Japanese study, Breast form changes resulting from a certain brassière from 1990. Their salient finding is that,

In all subjects, after 3 months of brassière constraint … the breasts tended to hang down.

But the study only had 11 subjects so its expressive power is very low.

The second study is by Pierrot L., Evolution du sein après l'arrêt du port du soutien gorge, étude préliminaire longitudinale sur 33 sportives volontaires from 2003. Unfortunately, I cannot find this study online. It is referenced by a lot of health sites.

The key points are referred in the linked article (in French) are:

There were 33 test subjects between 18 and 25 years.
After one year of going bra-less, there was an improved development of the pectoral muscles, and a reduction of sagging (measured by a reduced distance between acromion and nipple).
In conclusion, nobody seriously claims that bras prevent saggy breasts (when no bra is worn). Furthermore, two studies tentatively confirm the idea that wearing bras actually causes saggy breasts."
From: physiology - Do bras prevent you from getting saggy boobs? - Skeptics - Stack Exchange

As for me, well, I feel better wearing something (even a sports bra) but that could be due to having Double D's.

Or you could just buy your bras and do push ups.
Thats pectoral muscle sagging. NOT breast tissue.

Bigger breasts and bouncing all around...hmmm yeh..thats not going to damage the connective tissue in the actual breast.

LOL

Thing that REALLY make the breast tissue sag:
- weight changes
- age
- smoking
- genetics
- lack of proper support when needed

An a cup may be fine...anything over a b...you gotta help those puppies out. LOL

Those studies were done in japan...guessing you are not japanese?
And the frenchie one only had one woman with larger breasts.

As far as a bra not helping. Just look around at your family member that have aged well. Ask them what they do. Your body will probably age in similar ways.

haha Ya all the women in my mom's family have big breasts but are tiny. Thing is, their chest went down in size after children and breast feeding. I know that's a rare thing to happen but it happened to them and I have a friend who it also happened to after she had her son.

I've worn a 32DD almost my entire life.

It's quite easy to accidentally wear a 34C when you're a 32DD because the extra room in the band (34 vs 32) is making up for the smaller cup of the bra (C vs DD).

In any case, I find the best selection of gorgeous 32DD bras at Nordstrom. Macy's has some good everyday 32DD bras, but Nordstrom has the super cute 32DD bras.

Happy shopping!

yep! I never spilled out of the 34C's which is why I thought I was wearing the right size. I was told a few years ago that I'm a 32C and that was way too tight and I spilled out of the cups which I remember finding odd so I just assumed they were wrong and went back to 34's. Aren't Nordy's bras incredibly expensive?? we have a Nord's rack and I remember seeing a bunch of 32's there but I don't remember if they had DD's in that size. Either way, I"m not in a rush to buy more bra's but I bought a Calvin Klein that didn't cost too much, to hold me over until I have more money. also, nobody is having any sales now so its a bad time to shop.

I may be used to paying a little more for bras, since I (we) wear a less common size, and I've buying it for so long.

I'm the queen of sales, and I love Nord. Rack.

And not all Nordie prices are higher than elsewhere. I used to buy them online, until I realized Nordie cost less, and I could try it on first in the store by going to them.

I also take very good care of my bras (hand-wash them in mild soap, lay flat to dry, etc) so they last a long time.

I also supplement with the less cute (but still cute enough) but lower priced bras from Macy's for wearing to the gym, etc. so my cuter bras last even longer.

There's nothing more uncomfortable than wearing the wrong size bra, so it's worth it to pay for the size that fits you best.
