I'm sure escorts make more than the vast majority of occupations that Americans hold...random much?

Not at all. The thread is all about investing in your looks over your education and being an escort is how you get the best bang for your buck, so to speak. Why get plastic surgery just to get a few extra tips waitressing when you could put your newly bought assets to work in a more economical career?

What would lead you to believe that I got plastic surgery so I could make more money waitressing???

In 2-3 years I will probably be working in sales.

Education> plastic surgery

Besides who wants to still be a waiter/waitress as they get older. Having a company match my 401k along with paid vacations/holidays/sick days trumps plastic surgery.

So, I think it's a valid question.
This. Sadly, in this day and age, looks are still important for women on the job. So is youth.

I don't know how I and what I do for a living got entangled into the OP's query. The OP is a nurse and I'm sure the OP was talking about how the peripheral benefits of plastic surgery in her personal life that would translate into financial windfalls. Nowhere have I ever said that I got plastic surgery to do better waitressing. I suspect people have other motives for zero'ing in on what I do for a living as opposed to the OP, and they're not quick enough to be subtle.

Btw, there are restaurants that offer paid vacations, health benefits and a 401K.

Never said you did, but you are the one who keeps advocating using looks to get ahead, be they natural or purchased. And do you think it's a coincidence that so many of your fellow hooters girls have had cosmetic surgery? It's not just "because they can afford it", while the rest of the female population is counting their pennies just waiting for the day they can get nipped tucked and enhanced. It's because they know their looks will please their predominantly male customers, that looking like something that stepped out of a fantasy will keep the tips flowing.

And if youre going to use your appearance to shamelessly relieve the opposite sex of their extra cash, why not go full throttle and become an escort?

I thought guys liked a woman who was pursuing an education, but I was wrong.

All on these forums, the men actually said they don't care about a womans educational achievement, how much money she makes,if she ain't attractive, she ain't attractive and having those things won't make her more of a viable mate.

There was a thread on here that someone asked a question: would you take woman A,who makes six figures, highly traveled, has great conversation,a sense of humor,a Phd from Harvard. but is not attractive.
Or
Woman B,who is attractive, unemployed, lives with Mommy and Daddy, and is shy.

Most of the men picked B.(the thread had the pics of the women on there).
Are the majority of men that stupid?

Stupid? Not necessarily. Led purely by biology? Perhaps.

Judging by my male friends/coworkers/acquaintances they would almost ALL pick the woman listed as 'b'. Their first (and sometimes only) requirement in a woman is that she's 'hot'. Everything else is just extra. Whenever I have a female friend ask about a guy I'm interested in, her first question is 'What's he like'? Whenever guys ask each other about the new girl he's interested in, usually the first question asked is 'is she hot?'

There are plenty of men out there that want to whole package of course, and don't care as much about looks, but I don't come in contact with that type of man very often, and when I do he's usually married.
