I find tattoos somewhat annoying and tried to google why that is. Reading some of the replies, I think it's not that it's annoying, but it's more like distracting to me. It's like have a smudge of ink from my pen on my fingers. It's my issue to deal with it though as the person with the tattoos didn't do anything particularly annoying.

I think the fact that he didn't have tattoos is what makes him great to you. If he did have tattoos, and you pass him by, you're right to do that as he's not that great. He has the mindset of not getting a tattoo even though others are getting them shows certain kind of personality (one that you like). If he did have tattoos, he obvious didn't have that personality. So even if you give him a chance despite if he were to have tattoos, his personality/mindset is not the guy you have today. Does that make sense?

I will say this. I don't find anything endearing about tattoos. When you really think about it, it is self mutilation/graffiti on skin. I don't have any tattoos, I don't want any. When it comes to a potential woman I might want to date, I would hope she doesn't have any. More specifically, a tattoo sleeve or in other places such as the small of the back.

Tattoos were kind of cool before everyone started getting them. Nothing special or unique about them now.

To me, tattoos harken back to my days in law enforcement when we "read" tattoos to determine gang affiliations. I find them most unappealing.

I saw plenty of tattoos at a water park last summer. They don't look nice at all, not even the small ones. It's like a scratch on a painting, or a dot of color on something entirely white.

Those who tattoo their entire body - it looks AWFUL. Justin Bieber and Ed Sheeran's arms look so ugly.

Having said that, I do think about getting one every now and then. Ha ha. But I would get it on the bottom of my foot so it doesn't marr (sp?) the appearance of the body.

I think what happened is they're considered trendy now. People get them to try and fit in with some sort of social circle or sub culture. I would possibly get one some day but it would only be one or two small to medium sized ones and would only be for something or someone that meant the world to me.

Scratch the someone unless it's a parent or our child. I can't imagine anything worse than having the name of someone you've broken up with emblazoned on our body. I understand that tattoo removal is expensive and painful.

Overall I don't see any difference in personalities of people with lots of tattoos vs. those without. I personally don't like massive amounts of tattoos but what other people do to their own bodies is their business and not mine.

If you are judging someone on their appearance and not the strength of their character, then you are the one who is annoying.

I have 2 (so far). One is Be Still and one is Mine. I didnt get them for anyone else but myself. If you think im annoying or unappealing because of them, then you werent worth my time of day. It doesnt change who i am.
