Spoiler
Its supposed to touch the low 80's here tomorrow with 60+ dew points, and I am NOT looking forward to sweating at night .
I wear my pink pajamas in the summer when its hot, i wear my red flannels in the winter when its cold, and sometimes in the spring time (and sometimes in the fall) i jump right in between the sheets with nothing on at all

If it's too early in the warmer season and I am not ready to start running the A/C (maybe just the fan), I will not cover with a blanket but still might cover my feet. When the summer really kicks in, I'll turn the A/C on low and cover with a light blanket.

I have to be covered, even if it's only a sheet.

I just have extra blankets for the winter months to keep me extra warm. In the summer I only really use one blanket because it can still get cool at night here.

The problem here is that my dad is a energy saving freak. He wont let me turn on the A/C unless its above 90 F, which happens for a grand total of 18 days every year. Other days, I sweat it through with a fan, which is why I usually sleep without covers.

If it were for me, the A/C would be on once temps cross 77 F. If A/C is on, then I usually sleep with a thin sheet on top in the summer, and the fan always remains off because it is rarely hot enough to turn on an A/C and fan up here.

My Dad was the same way. Fan blowing out a window upstairs, fan blowing in downstairs ("claims" to cause a cool breeze throughout the house)

My grandmother was the same way. She didn't even have A/C. She would buy box fans and put buckets of ice water in front of them. She grew up during the Depression though so she understood "tough times."

Your attitude will probably change when you get your own place and have more bills every time you open the mailbox.

The additional problem is that when I do feel hot, dad prohibits me from taking my shirt off. So I end up wearing tanks just to stay cool . This, yet again, is something mom wont agree with. So I cant stay comfortable with both of them at home in summer . My parents seriously need to come to an agreement on this. Either let me turn on the A/C if its hot, or let me reveal myself to stay comfortable.
