No, dad always wants to be so controlling in all aspects of my life . He always questions me about what I wear, and how odd it is. He fails to trust me and always doubt's what I say. Under stress, he always chooses me as a person to vent upon. I tried telling him several times to stop such behavior in a kind and respectful manner. At this point I AM JUST SICK OF IT .

I'm wondering how your dad even knows what you go to sleep in. Does he come in your room and check?

Well I certainly don't blame you for that, he sounds like a charmer....

I hope you are able to move out soon.

I walk out of my room wearing my bed clothes early in the morning, which ideally would be just a pair of shorts on muggy summer days. But dad wants me to cover my torso and not expose it. Because according to him it looks too revealing. I also can't lock my bedroom doors, his rules.

Put a shirt on after leaving the bedroom? I don't particularly care for walking around my parent's house shirtless myself.

I like to sleep when it's hot but still HAVE to have something over me, even if only a sheet. My husband likes the a/c on ~ I don't.

Same here, need something.

When it's hot...

Thin sheet, yes.
Blanket, no.

I sleep every night year round, anywhere in the world, with the windows open and no heating or cooling, except maybe a fan. So I sleep under whatever is necessary for comfort. under the prevailing circumstances.

How is this a fashion/beauty topic?
