Summer makeup (gel, light, moisturizer, look)

In the summertime I just love that I can slip on a pair of sunglasses and go without wearing eye makeup.

I still like a little blush and lipstick though. And I apply a light moisturizer with SPF.

What do you do different with your face when it's sunny and hot?

I wear very little makeup when it's hot out. Often just moisturizer with an SPF. Tinted lip balm with same.

I use more earthy eye colors, & lightly line my eyes w/ a pretty aqua....
I also use a really pretty shimmer on my lips...
It's a light nude.....really Summery
I use a lot of sunblock, but my skin goes really dark as soon as May hits....
People actually think I went on vacation, lol
So I like to really go easy on make up in Summer...

I cant call this makeup, but:

I wash my face with cold water all year round to freshen up and use nivea face energizer. My only addition for summer is Underarm softening cream because I don't like sleeves in sunny hot weather.

I'm sort of the same, my makeup is fairly minimal all year (but I live in Florida where it's always summer, lol)

No foundation or powder of bb cream, just a dab of cover stick on a few spots, a dab of gel blush, some eyeliner and mascara, and tinted lip gloss in a "natural" shade. If I am going out somewhere special I might wear deeper lipstick and some eyeshadow too.

My makeup routine doesn't change in the summer.

Foundation, blush, mascara and occasionally eyeshadow and liner during the week, just BB cream on the weekends.

Same here. Sometimes I skip the BB cream and the lipstick is always a vibrant shade. Read somewhere recently that gals over 50 should never have "nude lipstick" cross their lips! Probably not sure for everyone but sure did make a difference for me. I can get away with tons less makeup anytime of the year with a lipstick that pops!

If I wear makeup I go the whole hog usually, no matter what time of year it is.

Summer brings different colours, that's the only difference.
