Trying to figure out a delicate way of wording this: attempting to get too-tight jeans over chubby thighs may be annoying, but jeans that are too tight on the abdomen can actually cause health problems- medical emergencies.
Not sure why you think only chubby girls have a time with this fashion attire, it's a problem for many trying to fit into such a style. But the person in the video was just doing a bit of a parody and pushing it to the extreme. I could have picked a thinner person, that was just a more fun and as I said before extreme example to go along with the what had been mentioned in an earlier posting.
Any denim I wear with any frequency, regardless of color or depth of dye, fade fairly quickly. The only way I've found to extend the life of a dark denim wash is to wear sparingly and/or wash sparingly.
I'm wearing black jeans this very moment. Why would you imagine them to be "hideous"? It's an odd choice of words because it implies that all black jeans are the same, which they're certainly not.
And why would you give up something you love, just because you're thinking they may not be around much any more? Aren't you enough of an adult to make up your own mind?

It's called having a sense of humour which watts has in an abundance btw
He's obviously been out with the boys and joking someone's brought them up and it's brought a funny question

You're absolutely right, not all black jeans are the same. I don't imagine them to be hideous at all. I think for the most part they look great. I worded the question for the thread that way on purpose. It was done tongue in cheek to hopefully grab people's attention.
Your question/criticism of why I gave up my black jeans is certainly valid. Though it wasn't the only reason I gave them up, not being adult enough by avoiding what wasn't fashionable at the time did play a part of my decision. As I mentioned, I regret doing that. Dumb move on my part. But hey, live and learn right?
I love them because I'm really not supposed to wear jeans to work and I can wear these. I'll dye them if they get too faded.
