Someone just left me a comment about extensions and them thinning out your hair. That's not true anymore. There's numerous extensions out on the market. Extensions have come a long way. If you are scared of them, you could just get clip in ones. I wore them when I had an awful hair cut.
I'm not afraid of the changes that come with age. I already have a few - drooping eyelids, saggy jowls, age spots, etc. It's the fact that I am at my heaviest weight ever and I can't seem to lose it.
Think about it: when you were a kid (depending on your age), did you ever see a SKINNY grandmother? Both of mine were chubby and soft, and so were everyone else's. Look at Aunt Bee on Andy Griffith: chubby. And she was only 50! I think it's a relatively modern aberration that we think older women are supposed to remain the weight they were at age 20. And an unhealthy one, at that!

I know plenty of petite slim grandmas because of genetics. Not all people on this earth are heavy set and I wouldn't use a sample of only white women on tv to represent women from all over the world. My Asian mixed race mom and her sisters are not big women except for one sister but she is an emotional eater. My mom is in her 70's and is still a petite woman. "Chubby" she is not.
What to you mean by ..."reversal of my tubal.."????
Tubal Ligation. I was sick for 10 years after having my "tubes tied" so I had to have a Tubal Reanastomosis; or reconnection of my fallopian tubes, 2 years ago.
It's called Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome (PTLS) but there are not enough cases of it that occur for it to be considered "statistically significant" so it does not legally have to be included as a possible side effect on a Treatment & Consent form (a legal document in your medical record; at least in the U.S.).
I've noticed that some older people get resting "B face". They might just be tired, but they look out of sorts. So I don't want to get that, as it turns people off!
