I've seen that look described as "...like you just offered to let her hold your pet jellyfish."

Yes, most of these suits are impractical unless you are going to a pool party after 6 p.m. and aren't concerned about weird tan lines. Did you notice the faces of the models? They looked like they had just smelled something disgusting.

LOL. So true!! I tried one of those "slenderizing" one-piece and could NOT pull it up with all my strength. I tried going from the top down, and almost smothered myself trying to pull it OFF. Hardly could do it.

Ended up with 2-pieces, and people can just look away if they don't like it. Even those have complicated straps that frustrate me. My husband with a science degree could not figure them out.

Oh yes! I have a similar suit as well. It is amazing because it is bra sized and gives me great support. But a pain in the butt to get on! Lucky for me, I actually lost some weight since I purchased it, so now it is much easier to get on. LOL! It is annoying but not 8x more annoying than a regular one piece. But one pieces with underwires are not fun to pull up!

Oh Jade you will love this:

I like the part where she says, "I needed a schematic to put this on."

"It looks like you're pressing something through a tennis racket!"

What are you talking about? No one is complaining about swimsuit coverage. More like the ability to go to the bathroom at the beach and the suitability of hopping in the pool for a swim or playing a round of volleyball in the complicated suits!

The article begins

With summer upon us, I’ve been clicking around my go-to shopping websites hunting for a new swimsuit.
Left unsaid: why in the world does she need a new swimsuit? What's wrong with the swimsuits she purchase over the past 5 years?
