My frustration is that tall sizes usually stop at 16. I'm 5'10 1/2" and I need a 18-20-1X depending on the style and manufacturer, but there just aren't any tall pants in those sizes. Inseams are still 31" even in a size 20, and they barely hit my ankles. There seems to be a belief that larger women are usually short (and apparently frumpy given the uninspired styling), when some of us are just big boned and tall. Add in the sea of brown polyester blend pants with elastic waists, and pants shopping makes me want to slit my wrists.

I can't find long in a 6 either. At 5'11" everything is ankle length lol Thankfully I can get my jeans at Buckle. They sell woman's jeans sized like men's.

X2. My DW is 5'4" and 102. She usually has to shop juniors. If she does find a 2 in women's, it often hangs on her like a 6. I remember nearly 35 years ago she almost bought her first Bill Blass. It said it was a 2 but it was really huge. I think some of the better products or lines number them differently so the larger women can feel better.

Both stores where I buy all my tall pants go up to 20...lands end and JJill. I have never heard of a tall pant that is only 31". Even LL Bean, which is also a good source, but their long is only 32".

I seriously don't know where you are shopping, but I've never had a long be less than 32".

I agree long is usually 32"+. The problem is finding long/tall pants in a size 20. You didn't read my post. I bought jeans at Lands End for decades, but their jeans now have a lot of spandex, postage-stamp size front pockets, and thin fabric that is no longer warm enough for winter wear, rendering them useless to me even if they fit. I could go on forever about LE cheapening their clothes over the past few years.

According to Old Navy, they sell "tall" sizes from 0-20. I have a few pairs of khakis in size "long" (2 inches shorter inseam than "tall" size) from Old Navy and I absolutely love them! I also have a few pairs of "tall" and I can roll them up a roll and they look great. I have never been able to roll up pants and have them still be long. LOVE them!

Old Navy is nothing fancy, but the pants I've gotten have worn very well and lasted a long time so far. My favorite pants, by far!

We went to the outlet mall today. I managed to find 2 sweaters in a small, and 0 pairs of pants in a 6. Everything was in the double digits.
