This is kind of like asking what type of nose or chin you prefer and seems almost discriminatory against people who don’t have full lips. You get what you’re born with.

Do you prefer people with a handicap or without ? Offended? Well as someone with smaller lips so am I.

If people were happier about themselves & their lives tho.....they wouldn’t get offended at sultry lips...or pouty lips....or lip liners & pencils to create those looks.....or thinner lips.....

Ita we get what we’re born with....so be happy & let’s make the most of what we have IMO....

In general this isn’t something I think about. But to see a whole thread on how sultry lips look better and thin lips suck doesn’t exactly make the thin lipped people feel great.

No one wants to be thought less of for how they look

Not just men, women too. Thinning lips happens to everyone as they get to middle age and older. Everyone. So by the time they've reached old age in some people the lips have shrunk down to such a thin line that is sunken in towards the mouth that the lips become invisible and the whole face is altered.

The lips get smaller while the nose and ears get bigger. LOL.

"How much do lip size and shape matter to you on others?" is not the same as "What do you prefer?" Furthermore, thin lips is one of the easiest cosmetic 'problems' to handle. (Although the more permanent treatment carries the risk of deforming the lips.) I think disabled people would feel insulted at the analogy. Must I limit a secondary question to mid-sized vs. full lips to not be the bad guy? Let's move along, please.

My self esteem is fine thank you and it always has been. I'm totally realistic about my good features and those that are less good. Overall I'm happy with myself.

Wanting to improve the appearance of a body part doesn't mean obsession. In the overall scheme of things as long as they can perform their intended function, my lips aren't really important.

You need to stop assuming that everyone who wants to improve their looks has self esteem or some other type of issues. I also color my hair, wear makeup and choose clothes that are flattering. So what? Nothing wrong with a woman wanting to look her best.
