I have two pair of Good American Jeans (expensive but they are worth it) that are so dark indigo that most people think they are black. They are not but I wear them like they are black and love them.

I love black jeans. I think they look a bit more polished than blue jeans and can often pass for slacks. I find my black jeans fade less than blue jeans. As others have said, I think black is very slimming.

Black jeans only look nice on women and only when they are tight and form fitting. They look trashy on men.

I love them. I prefer them. What's not to like? But why would I talk about them?

I got a pair or two from Levi's that were pretty good. Also, every few years I will stumble upon a pair at the DKNY outlet that fit me perfectly. (I have to find tall sizes.)
Yeah. I think I’ve found one pair ever that I’ve liked and still have. Other pairs I’ve had have ripped in unacceptable places, faded, etc., even with vinegar washes, washing inside out, and washing in cold. I don’t use any scented detergents, so that limits my options as most “cold water” detergents seem to have an offputting detergenty smell.
