What happened at Safeway? I haven't heard anything.

Storm blew in those big windows above and between the two entrances. They were boarding them up when I was there yesterday afternoon.

I did see that although I didn't really pay attention to what they were doing. Didn't notice the broken part of the glass and thought they were washing windows. I guess not. I was there around 3 PM.

The Independent mentioned it in their fairly lame article on the storm. Jon Hutchinson is getting a little dotty, you ask me...

I saw the article online but didn't really read it. Guess I should, huh?

Did you watch the fireworks? Very good, as usual!

Glad you enjoyed the show! I have to say that we really do have quite the show on the 4th. I worked till 9 PM but got to watch them all the way home and then relax for 'the rest of the show' after I got here. Did you go to the fairgrounds or watch from 'afar'. Only once did I go near the fairgrounds and it was sooo crowded I decided not to do that again. lol

CTWD does put on a good show, I'll give them that...We have a secret place that nobody knows about very close by. We're basically right under them. Lawn chairs and a cooler of frosty adult beverages. We went to the fairgrounds shindig once years ago. I remember that carpetbagger hypocrite Rick Renzi was going around gladhanding and godblessing everybody. It was hot, sweaty, crowded and the food was expensive and lousy. Not going again TYVM.
