Cases look down but deaths about the same. A lot of cases are no longer counted, due to at home testing and simply telling no one when someone gets it. I cannot believe how many of my local friends have had Covid in the last 2 months. Most have had non serious effects, but at least one died from it impacting her.

I searched this thread top to bottom, since I didn’t find a clear, unambiguous statement here, but I did find a ton of sentiment to the point of thinking this data is in anyway privileged and/or proprietary:

What Sanybelle is posting is publicly accessible record that is accessible to anyone, anywhere, and can probably be found much faster and conveniently at the source, rather than this thread.

Furthermore, posting about a disease that doesn’t “end” and will always have cases is fruitless and without use, unless the poster includes data of all comparable diseases as well as posting all that every day for the rest of recorded time, largely serves little point.

if you are not interested in the data, just do not read the thread. The info is obviously abstracted from a source. It is convenient to read it here and see the trend. It is about covid, not other diseases.

They loved the pandemic and can’t let it go. They’re hoping for another one.

As someone who's lost several family members and friends to COVID, I am very interested and appreciate the information and I can assure you that none of us are "hoping for another one."

Going for another booster this week—had a choice between Pfizer and Moderna and chose Pfizer. I always get lethargic, and sometimes aches and chills for a day or so. Ugh. Looks like the CDC says us ol’ geezers need a boost every 4 to 6 months.

If you were so interested you could check the stats yourself without this thread.
