When we talk about cases, deaths, hospitalizations it's good to remember WE (the whole world) is not even half way through this pandemic. You use data as a political talking point to reinforce your negative opinions. Your rarely if ever give a full picture of the truth.

The data reported on WorldoMeters does get manipulated almost nightly. When I view the data about 7pm, I write down the numbers for the current day. Three hours later, about 10pm "today's numbers" get updated. If someone looks at the numbers before 10pm, it appears that the number of deaths is small, in the single digits, but this number is updated about 10pm. I call the 10pm update a Stealth Update. It's hard to explain, but I'll try. lol

Sunday at 7pm -- Deaths reported are 50,825, an increase of 8 from Saturday, news agencies know the numbers are updated about 7pm so they take this number to report. Yay, there are only 4 deaths on Sunday, right?

Sunday at 10pm -- Deaths reported for Sunday are reported at 51,884 and Saturday's number of deaths are changed to 51,880 and it appears there are only 4 reported deaths for Sunday. If you subtract the Saturday unchanged number of 50,825 (which somehow got stealth updated and it's difficult to find online because WOM only shows two days of numbers) and the new Sunday number of 51,884 you do get 1059 new deaths, not 4 deaths.

I can say with a high degree of certainty Hospitals report Covid deaths at a higher rate than actually are true. If a patient dies from stage IV cancer and has covid... it's reported as a covid death. My brother died from COPD in OK and due to lack of forensics his death was reported/recorded as covid. I do not know if he had covid, but he did die at home.

No, I disagree with the numbers changing twice a day and the organizations that don't realize this report the lower number. I also believe that the states and the media have bungled the numbers and reports so much that we don't know the true reports and we will never know them. It probably doesn't matter since we will all die of something someday. I think we should just let covid rip thru the world and let the strong survive. It's a lost battle by now.

Science and reporting is constantly changing. Why? the reporting and the science is dynamic. That is the nature of such things. Attempts at perfection = excellence, hopefully. What is the under/over for accuracy?

We are only 1/2 way through this pandemic. The world is a big place. People who 'keep score' for political purposes are stoking fear. If the data you post only reflects the results you intended or the desired outcome (not accusing you, others do) then you have corrupted the science and it is no longer science.

Spraying a room with half truth data is the political version of a science Uzi... the intent is to injure.

Again... this isn't about you.

It was predicted by the immunology department of USF. In fact they claim Florida is the first to reach herd immunity. So ... by the end of the month (predicted) Florida will be forgotten and the focus will be on more northern states.

The lessons I've observed is, early therapeutics help tremendously , kids aren't the problem, vaxxed folks still get covid at a higher rate than expected, unvaxxed have a higher rate of infection and more hospitalizations, natural immunity is good maybe better, obese is bad, very, very bad. Live your life well and use your head.

No one is even talking about kids and masks anymore. Imagine gov Whitmer saying no mask mandates for kids and no vaccine mandates... holy bat sh1t robin!

If this was a 9 inning game... we'd be in the top of the 5th. with covid.
