Well, I hate to pound on this, but we're in the rainy season full force in S Florida...Rained hard on and off all day, all nite and this early AM, cloudy and dark here as we are due more rains today...

Its a great thing that inside our development all house foundations are easily 4 feet above sea/water level, 4 storms sewers in our circle and all 4 drain under 15 meters from our homes into Black Creek Canal, that eventualy makes it's way to Biscayne Bay just N of Homestead. Outside of here in W Kendall lots of streets get flooded while the heavy rains are on, but they drain quickly when the rains slow down.

Btw Lake "O" is today higher than 2 days ago...with Gonzalo looming, the Water Management People will soon start draining Okeechobee.

Well Gonzalo won't be looming here dear. Way too much dry air aloft and sinking air ahead of the storm norm.
