Hello!!! The government is a BIG part of this country. Voting is your way of trying to change what you feel in wrong.

Seriously....what are YOU doing for your Country to make it better? Not voting sure isn't helping.

No, I pretty much do what I want now. That wouldn't change if government had more power.

I don't ask my country to do anything for me...it shouldn't ask me to do anything for it. I'm here for ME. As long as I can survive, I'm happy. You know, Thoreau had a good idea, but he didn't take it far enough. He was too close to society.

So, no American citizen should move from the exact locale of where they were born?

That makes absolutely no sense.

One of the good things about this country is that there is the freedom to move & the overabundance of every possible resource to do such a thing.

And no one should ever move from this country?

Maybe a dictatorship would work for your way of thinking.

That's correct!

For one, these snowbirds would stay the heck out of Florida!

Ok back on subject....I just assume that people know how important it is to vote so I don't feel the need to remind people when election day is.

If you are unhappy with either candidate, which many are, it's your right to vote or not to vote.

The country's pretty much a mess right now. Maybe something good will occur in the next 4 yrs. Can't be much worse than the past 8.

Florida is an important state to win.

I'm back in OH where the candidates are every week.

I can tie my own shoes now, so if I don't want to be harassed or annoyed or hear too much propaganda, I just say so. It's quite simple.

i see the country as worse in the last 2 years than in the previous 6 years. what is the difference? both had an incompetent republican president, but the first 6 had a republican congress and the last 2 had an incompetent democratic congress. i agree that it is a personal decision to vote or not, but i think that most americans are frustrated with people who will not get involved to stop what they see is a country veering dangerously towards socialism and future oppression. when the treasury secretary is a wall street big shot named warren buffett the flow of money will be geared towards wall street and americans will not actually have free choice in their economic decisions.
