They will ruin a good paint job too if you don't clean them off.

I heard on TV that if you dampen a dryer sheet with a little water, it seems to work pretty easily to get those things off.
I can't even lay out by the pool (not enclosed) because they are SOOO annoying.

What's the best way to clean the 'love bugs' off your radiator?

I tried the dryer sheet thing tonight... I worked great! I cleaned off two of my cars within just a couple minutes!!

we use RainX (as posted above) too... and yes, it does help out a great deal!

I can tell you one thing not to use and that's Easy Off oven cleaner...LOL.. When I lived there someone told my neighbor that Easy Off would get the love bugs off his car, well it did take the bugs off and also took the clear coat off the paint as well.... poor dummy was warned not to do this and ended up having his car painted...LOL..

If you have access to an air compressor just soak them good with a hose and just blow them off.....

ew, i wish that just one summer would pass without bugs having sex in my hair ....i suggest getting a winshield guard and just letting em cook off the radiator. pressure cleaning works really good as well though.

They are just as bad in East Texas. I live in the country and they swarm my house, front & back. Every time a door is opened several get in the house. They get in your food & drinks, in your hair, in bed at night and are driving me crazy. I am looking for a incectacide that will keep them away from the house.
