I love quoting my own posts but I needed to add -- in case Debsi got concerned -- that we had fresh (steamed) green beans with it. Got my greenery in, among all those carbs!

I'm so glad you liked it!! I agree about it being a good summer dinner... We went from snow and ice to highs in the 70's practically overnight, so I had to celebrate the weather.

Don't understand this one. The deli has both hot and cold fried chicken. The cold was $7.59, and the hot was $6.99. Same number of pieces. You can guess which one I took.
Kalabasa with red potatoes and whatever else DH decides to put in the dutch oven! Week-ends are so good--no cooking for 2 days! Back to the real world tomorrow--now what should I make for dinner tomorrow night?
