Fried pork chops with a side of steamed rice and steamed broccoli. Also had some pear slices. I LOVE fried pork chops but hate cleaning the greasy stove top afterward! Always a price to pay, I guess.

My one big Tues. cook-out, to last me until next Tues.!

Chicken & Macroni Bake with lots of cheddar cheese, along with onion, can of diced tomatoes, sour cream, bacon bits and (interestingly!) zucchini!

Chicken with rum, raisins, half & half cream, sour cream, almonds!

Tasted both, both very yummy, but yikes! Back to the wok next week! Or will I even make it!!! All that cream and cheese!

More of that great Steelhead (ocean going trout). Gotta love this season with fresh picked asparagus to add to the plate, and yum for dessert/ salad; - Fresh CA oranges (for $0.29 / Lb)! Not too shabby grits for feeding the family under $100/month.

Tried the vegan thing for awhile but it wasn't working out for me. Tonight we will have shrimp scampi over pasta, steamed broccoli, salad and brownie sundaes for dessert. Oh yeah, and wine

Tonight's dinner is baked chicken breasts topped with a sauce of cranberry orange marmalade, hot sauce, dijon mustard, and honey; baked sweets; and sugar snap peas.

It was burritos because with my brother-in-law in the hospital and my dad in and out of the hospital that's all I had time for. Flank steak is not readily available in Canada (I had never even heard of it before reading about it here) and I saw it for the first time ever last week and promptly bought some. But the burritos weren't very good
