Having friends for dinner tonight, I am making chicken picatta, rice, cauliflower bake, I will also serve Italian bread with olive oil on the side for dipping, white wine and my friends are bringing dessert.
I was good last night after all and did grill fish, so tonight we won't be quite so good: Smoked ham (in fact hubby will put in in or on the smoker pretty soon, sweet potatoes with lots of butter, a little cinnamen and some cream, and green beans...
I think I am going to take a chuck roast, cut it into "stew beef", then cook low and slow in the oven. Egg noodles, leftover creamed corn and leftover zipper peas. Dump cake for dessert.
Decisions decisions.....So far I am leaning toward chili fried chicken....creamed red potatoes with homemade gravey....bacon, red onion greenbeans...lemon meringue pie....coffee and lemon water....happy eating
