I agree too, Lacey. I think they build in a couple days after the sell date. You're ok.

Now, if you're sick, Nomad will come over and take care of you and DH.

Stock up on chocolate and S&V and plenty of Velveeta and I'll be up if needed. I don't shovel snow though.

Lacey, when they vacume seal those things they last longer then the due date and because it's beef it will last longer too. Hubby use to be a butcher and said beef lasts much longer then the other meats or chicken. You should have no worries! I have used those past their due dates before with no ill effects. But hey, no reason Nomadicus can't come to keep y'all company anyhow!

I could make a swing by the Twin Cities and visit a cousin for a day or two ya know. She could give me a few pointers on proper MN etiquette maybe. I'm sure she would feed me cabbage rolls for a dinner. Her mom made the bestest of all times. She is from the old world and really knew how to cook.

I'll have the DW pack my bags. I will be driving as I like to enjoy the sites along the way. OK the truth is I like to enjoy all the little greasy spoons along the way. I call it culture on the run. Maybe she will take a vacation and come along for the ride. I make a much better copilot these days. I can navigate pretty well still.

Guest room and bath are ready-come on out before the snow. Oh and in case it does snow, don't worry we have a snowblower.

Snow blowers are a good thing. I never had one way back when. I'm certified with a snow shovel and ice scraper but I'm retired and didn't renew my occupational license for that line of work. I will operate a BBQ in the snow though. I think it is kinds of cool to grill in the snow. You just have to be quick to get the meat off the grill and in the house in a hurry when the temps drop down into the teens.
