Lacey, thanks for the reminder about chicken cacciatore - one of our faves for cooler weather, and it'll be chilly here soon enough. That cold, wet front that's currently over you will reach us eventually, and it'll be time then for something warm and comforting.

Nomoresnow, welcome back and I hope your recovery is proceeding well, at least other than the food-poisoning episode, that is! Did your dear man at least learn something about the need for greater care in food storage, I hope?

Sounds like the spouse is going to take advantage of what is likely the final warm, sunny (mid to upper 70's!) day of the year for us, and get the grill out one last time today. He's debating the various merits of chicken haunches vs. skewered beef and veg, and I'm completely confident that whatever he settles upon will be scrumptious, so I don't really care which it is. I'm destined for a few hours at the office today, and they'll go by faster knowing that I have the final grill-out of the year to look forward to when I get home.

Happy Sunday, all!

I definitely will have something liquid for dinner No, not what you think, just some yogurt drink or something like that b/c we had an extensive lunch (my grandpa's birthday lunch) with three different kinds of meat (I sticked with chicken breast topped with brokkoli and cheese and baked in the oven) with mushrooms and other veggies and I loved the croquettes the most. We don't have them at home and I only eat them in restaurants, they were very tasty.
BTW we also had a soup before all the meat and stuff. So I'm still stuffed and don't want to think about eating and it's already 7:15 p.m.

Off to another DVD evening with my cousin and her bf. Have a gr8 Sunday!

Roasted turkey drumsticks in maple-mustard-cayenne glaze.

On the side, we'll split a sweet potato and have some steamed broccoli.

MWBW, thanks. Nice to be back. i can't totally blame DH on the sausage fiasco. I have to take a part of the blame on that one.

Mmom, nice to see you. Happy b'day to grandfather.

Debsi, that glaze sounds absoltuely terrific.

I think we're having steak tonight (hopefully on the grill!). Since DH has been cooking, I just sit back and enjoy.
