Thanks Lacey and CheyDee

Remember if you want to check your seasoning before baking you can take a tsp or so of the mixture and pan fry/taste.

Lacey, my recipe is close to yours. I've changed my mind and am now making meatloaf. I just bought bunch of ground sirloin on sale, so it's just perfect. With some mashed potatoes, brown gravy and buttered carrots and peas. YUM! Fish and spinach salad can wait another day...

BJH, I'll be leaving for your house in a few minutes.

I think we should have fresh whipped cream on your cake, OK?

Looks like some bad weather heading our way here in NC...we are in a flood watch right now so am thinking about making dinner a bit early. Since we have all electric cooking no reason to chance it. It is not one bit unusual to lose electricity here---"Green-Acres"! Got my glass of wine poured so I don't need much else! Ha! Everyone have a great evening. Nite all!

Mac and Cheese is done....DIVA has decided Mac and Cheese is just disgusting!!!! Of course! Why wouldn't she? I mean, come on mom? Why didn't I already know that? It was only one of the staples last week! LOL..... She is downing her second bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios.... The ONLY type of sugar cereal I allow in the house.... She has Karate in 40 minutes. I pray the roads are salted smooth by now.... I hate when they have that layer of buttery slick ice on them after a night of rain. I am usually very good at driving... but give me a bad icy road and I get nervous. Hubby will be home VERY late tonight ) So, it is a crazy night..... Have a good dinner everyone... I am off.....

Default Breakfast Tonight

Happy Hump Day, everybody! Tonight's dinner is breakfast. I'm grilling some pork chops, and with it will be toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and coffee.

And some butter and honey for the toast. Have a good one.

Evening all, finally kicked hubby off the computer, he's been hogging all day. Tonight for dinner, Tex Mex soup and homemade bread. If the soup turns out tasty, I will post the recipe tomorrow. Hope everyone stays warm, they are focasting snow showers for the Houston area. Yikes!!!!!!! My kids will be excited if they get to see some tonight. Me, I am hiding inside.

Everyone have a great evening.

It's a deal! Though it may make me a philistine, we do have some fresh chocolate-flavored cool whip in the fridge, too.

Hey, that reminded me. I had forgotten about it. Now I feel silly. But can have cake with cool whip when I get home!
