Lazy man's dinner tonight. Local market had a special on store made chicken parmigiana, very well done, boiled up a little penne to accompany, made some fresh garlic bread, a little vino rosso and I'm a happy camper

Huck, I have to say that some of your menus are as imaginative as your poetry! How wonderful.

Molochai - I hope you feel better! What a lousy thing to have happen!

Tonight we had leftovers from last night - which was hamburger steak, real mashed potatoes, gravy with sauteed onions and bell peppers, cabbage cooked with some chicken stock (shhhh threw in some fat meat too!), butterbeans we froze over the summer, and fresh buttermilk cornbread! I know, we were so bad!!!!

Thanks. My darling hubby is bringing me home some OJ and between that, the vick's vapo rub, and chicken broth I'm sure I'll feel better. The good thing is I'm off work so plenty of bedrest is easy to get.

Too tired tonight so stopped by a sandwich shop and tried a chicken and bacon sandwich. Twas much better than anticipated. (Closer we get to Xmas, more we should use 'twas,' right?)

Looks like a few people brought something home. Must be TGIF!

Oh no. It's time to start kissing up.

Hi all. We've been really busy trying to decorate and finish up some of the inside of the house. So far it's looking good. Nothing really great going on in the kitchen. I didn't start my diet. Bad me. Soon I'll get serious. We are having company for dinner next week for the first time in our new house. We are having a birthday dinner for my grandson who will be 11. It will just be my hubby, his daughter and her husband and their 2 children. I think I am going to make chicken parmesan, spaghetti, garlic bread and salad. Oh and some sausage for my hubby. He can't live without sausage lol. And a big "chocolate cake" for the birthday cake.

Someone say chocolate.... None for us tonight. Shopping tomorrow. I just had the best pumpkin dessert ever. Better be finding the thread before I get strung up for not reporting on it proper like.
