So I made the chicken cutlets sauteed in olive oil then added the lemon juice and wine - hubby said it was very good and I have to agree! Thanks for the idea lacey!
I made only one mistake - I had puckered faces lol....I should have heeded my own warning!
OMG is chipped steak, the same a chipped beef? I havent had creamed chipped beef on toast for years and I used to love it. (The sodium content must be way up there like spam...lol!) Used to also have it with boiled potatoes and a canned veggie when I was a kid, or on a biscuit. Anything in a cream sauce could be stretched as far as it needed to go.
I love creamed chipped beef!! This is a little bit different, as it's more like the thinner sliced steak you would use in a good quality steak sandwich. I was going to do it the way we usually do (onions and garlic sauteed in butter, then add tons of worcestershire sauce, let it simmer, add the steak and saute). Then put on toasted bread or rolls, and pour the sauce, onions, garlic over. Now creamed chipped steak is sounding good!
